Separation Processes

A separation process is a technique that divides a chemical mixture or solution into two or more different product mixes. It is a method for separating two or more substances in order to achieve purity. At least one of the resulting mixtures from the separation is enhanced with one or more of the components of the source mixture. A separation may in some circumstances completely separate the mixture into its pure ingredients. Separations take use of variations in the physical or chemical characteristics of mixture's components. The specific qualities that process use to create separation are frequently used to categorise them. If a single difference cannot be utilised to create the necessary separation, several processes can frequently be combined to do so.
