Biography:
Mengstu Etay obtained his BSc in Chemistry from Mekelle University, Ethiopia. He then earned his MSc in Inorganic Chemistry from the same institution in 2017. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Sustainable Chemical Science and Technology at the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences (IAMS), Academia Sinica, Taiwan. His research focuses on developing single-atom catalysts for efficient electrochemical CO₂ reduction. He is supervised by Dr. Kuei-Hsien Chen at the Advanced Materials Laboratory, IAMS, Academia Sinica, and Dr. Li-Chyong Chen at the Department of Physics, National Taiwan University.
