Biography:
Dr. Juliana Sousa is a Research Fellow in the Nanochemistry group at INL. She has gained expertise in various scientific fields, such as synthesis and functionalization of inorganic materials for the water treatment. Her 10 years of work in Inorganic Chemistry and Material Science have been centered on synthesis, functionalization, and use of nanomaterials for water treatment, environmental catalysis, and coating applications. Additionally, she has experience in developing adsorbent materials for the selective removal of metal ions from water.
