Biography:
Dr. Jian Zhi Hu received his BS degree in Physics from Lanzhou University of China in 1983, his MS degree in 1986, and his Ph.D degree in 1994 from a joint-University of Utah, USA and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Ph.D program. He joined the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, USA, in year of 2000 as a junior research scientist and is currently a senior staff scientist. Dr. Hu has published more than 200 peer reviewed publications with an h-index of 40. He received 11 USA patents and two R&D 100 awards.
