Biography:
Eng. Eugenio Meloni studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Salerno (Italy) and graduated in 2001. He then joined the research group of Professor Vincenzo Palma at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the same University, as a research fellow in the field of Catalysis and Industrial Chemistry. His researches involve the formulation, preparation, characterization, and testing of structured catalysts for (i) soot abatement emitted by diesel engines or bio-mass combustion plants, and (ii) the intensification of different catalytic processes, also by means of alternative energy sources. He published 49 research articles on international peer-reviewed journals, with an h-index 12.
