Abstract:

This presentation will discuss the advancements in catalytic processes for sustainable chemical engineering. It will focus on the development of novel catalysts and their applications in various chemical processes. The presentation will cover topics such as the synthesis of modified carbon nanostructures from natural sources for water desalination, preparation of composite materials for water treatment and desalination, and the use of catalytic processes for wastewater treatment. The audience will learn about the latest research findings, innovative techniques, and practical solutions in the field of catalysis. This knowledge will enable them to enhance their job performance, improve the accuracy of design processes, and contribute to sustainable chemical engineering practices. The research presented in this session can also be utilized by other faculty members to expand their research and teaching activities. Biography:

Dr. Mahmoud Fathy Mubarak received his PhD in water desalination from the Faculty of Science at Banha University in March 2017. He is currently a researcher at the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute (EPRI) and has been actively involved in various research projects related to physical chemistry and water treatment. Dr. Mubarak has published several research articles in renowned scientific journals, and his expertise lies in the development and application of novel materials for water desalination and wastewater treatment.
